How To Clean Fake Eyelashes & Reuse Them

If you wear falsies all the time then odds are you reallllly want to get as many uses out of them as possible, especially if you’re buying fancy ones! Woo that shit adds up after a while.  Gotdamn. I have good news though, you can clean fake eyelashes and it’s really easy!

I’ve seen some tutorials on cleaning them with alcohol and I think that probably works if you are trying to get mascara off them, but this is more of a “how to quickly clean off the band between uses” type of deal.  To be honest, once you put mascara on a pair and then try to clean them they’re never quite the same anyway, in my humble opinion.

To get the glue off your falsies after you wear them all you need is a pair of tweezers and a little finesse.

That’s it.  Literally just use a pair of flat tweezers to to pull off the old glue. They have to be flat ones though, the ones with the little needle nose done work so well.  The glue comes off super easily once you give it a little tug and if you hold the lashes close to the band where you’re pulling the glue it shouldn’t rip the lashes at all.  I do this between uses and I typically get 10-12 wears out of a pair of falsies.  Not too shabby!
