Ahhh there is nothing like a fresh pair of your favorite false lashes, amirite? But to be honest, it can be a real bish to apply lashes, and it can be especially annoying to apply a fresh pair because they aren’t really broken in to your eye shape yet. Such a catch22. So I think we could all agree that a fake eyelash trick that helps break them in would be a life saver, right? Yes obviously, duh.
Well I have a trick that helps quite a bit, so you can relax now. Your lashes are gonna be just fine, girl. It’s such a stupidly easy trick you’re gonna laugh, but I swear it works!
Before you start your makeup, grab a lipstick tube, a concealer tube, a mascara tube, basically any tube of that general size and use the stickiness of the glue that comes on the false lashes in the package to stick them on there. The curve of the makeup tube is a bit more intense than the curve of an eye, so it will help re-shape the band so that it sits better on your eye shape, and do it pretty quickly since you are bending it around a pretty intense curve.
Then when you go to put it on, it will be easier to place properly because the band will be softer and the extra flexibility will help prevent the corners from popping up…which we all know is another issue with a fresh pair of lashes. Fake lash problems = solved.
This fake lash trick is pretty much the simplest thing ever, but it solves so many problems! Give it a try if you have a hard time applying your lashes, let me know how it goes. Tell me how much easier it made your life, or that it did nothing and I can go kick rocks…but it works for me so I’m thinking that won’t be the case.
